Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent may only get a few hours reprieve from a thick blanket of fog that has settled over Southwestern Ontario.
After issuing a fog advisory this morning, Environment Canada says it'll take its time lifting today but will make a return around midnight tonight.
Meteorologist Peter Kimbell says a combination of humid, warm air and long night time hours makes fog a greater possibility.
"Normally, of course, the temperature would be a lot colder," he says. "This is more typical of September and October."
After tonight, the risk of fog begins to drop especially with a greater risk of rain Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
