Make-A-Wish Playset Is Complete

The playset is up and a Thamesville boy's wish is now a reality.

The Make-A-Wish foundation presented Michael with the brand new playset in his backyard yesterday after he came home from a round of chemotherapy.

Volunteer Wendy Badder says Michael wished for something he could share.

"This was something he could do with his brother, so that was his wish," says Badder. "He was able to draw it out for us, and tell us that he would like it to have a slide and a sandbox and a telescope, things like that."

Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service also showed up for the celebration, to let Michael try some lights and sirens on their cruisers.
