The Beach Boys brought out their best for Chatham-Kent Saturday night.
The band performed a song from nearly every studio album for fans at Tecumseh Park.
Singer Mike Love says they love playing in smaller towns, especially for a philanthropic cause.
"They get a little jaded with so many opportunities and so many different things," he says. "When you get to a real, smaller town with a sense of community, it makes it more special."
Linda Mathieson attended the concert and says she's always been a fan of the Beach Boys.
"I think this is a big boost for Chatham-Kent to draw a good attraction," she says. "It's great entertainment and these guys are awesome."
The concert was organized in part by the Rotary Club, which will donate funds towards the Chatham-Kent Hospice.
