A Canadian man is reunited with his wife after crashing his small plane over Lake Michigan.
US Customs officials say they heard a distress call while flying over the lake around 7pm Saturday. They determined the call came near the small island of St. Martin.
Crews quickly located the downed aircraft, finding the pilot had just suffered minor injuries.
During the rescue border officials kept in contact with the pilot's wife, who had been following her husband in a separate aircraft. The two were reunited at Escanaba Airport later that night.
