A 43-year-old Walpole Island man is facing numerous weapons charges as a result of an ongoing investigation by the OPP and Canadian Border Services Agency.
This past Friday, officers arrested and charged Randy Fabian Nahdee after a primary inspection by CBSA officers located firearms in a vehicle coming into Canada at the Blue Water Bridge.
Nahdee is facing 28 charges including:
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (2 counts)
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm (2 counts)
- Importing a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition Knowing It Is Unauthorized (7 counts)
- Importing Components or Parts for Use in the Making of Automatic Firearms Knowing it is Unauthorized
- Unauthorized Importing of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition (2 counts)
- Unauthorized Importing of Components or Parts for Use in Making of Automatic Firearms
- Transport Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition in a Careless Manner
- Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing There was Prohibited or Restricted Weapon (2 counts)
- Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order (6 counts)
- Fail to Comply with Undertaking
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
- Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
- Transport Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition in a Careless Manner
He'll appear in Sarnia court Monday, July 15 for a bail hearing.
