A 41-year-old woman is in hospital with life threatening injuries after police say her mobility scooter was struck by a car in Blenheim.
The woman has been airlifted to London after being stabilized in Chatham, police say.
Chatham-Kent police say a Chevy Cruise travelling north on Chatham St. N struck the scooter, which was turning onto the road from Hannibal St., at about 1:30pm this afternoon.
The driver of the car was not hurt. There's no word on charges at this point.
Police say Chatham St. N will remain closed in the area for a few hours while officers investigate.
