One person has been taken to hospital after being pinned under a car that smashed through the front of a walk-in clinic.
Emergency crews rushed to the clinic on Tecumseh Rd. E at Westminster Blvd. Monday at around 4:30pm.
Police say charges are pending after it appears the driver, in her 60s, accidentally accelerated into the building.
A total of five people were taken to hospital, one with non-life threatening injuries and four others as a precaution, including the driver. Police say the man pinned under the vehicle was conscious at the scene.
Police say the clinic was open at the time of the crash with five or six people inside the waiting room.
