Entegrus and its customers are trying to power through another chilly winter season.
Company engineers are seeing similar energy consumption numbers compared to last year's frigid winter.
Director of Corporate Services Gary Simon says he isn't astounded to see the demand high once again. "If you recall last year, I know [the season] was extended. We don't know where this season is going to bring us, but it was pretty cold last year as well. It doesn't surprise me that consumption on the hydro side is maintaining the same level as last year."
Simon adds Entegrus works with landlords, residents and other customers to assist them with staying warm if they struggle with their bills.
