Maroons Win, Feasey Takes Title

The Chatham Maroons closed out the regular season with a 10-3 win over the St. Marys Lincolns while at the same time helping a teammate earn an individual award.

Maroons forward Brennan Feasey entered the game five points back of the lead for the scoring title. In the first two periods Feasey scored four goals and added two assists to capture the GOJHL scoring title. Feasey ends the season with 41 goals and 49 assists for 90 points.

"To finish it off here in Chatham, in front of a great crowd is pretty special," says Feasey. "To finish off with the scoring title, you can't ask for much more, to be honest with you, as a player. It's pretty surreal."

The Maroons will now take on the London Nationals in the first round of the playoffs. Game 1 is set for Thursday night in Chatham, with Game 2 Saturday in London, before the series shifts back to Chatham for Game 3 Sunday. The rest of the schedule has yet to be confirmed.
