Environment Canada has ended its extreme cold weather warning for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent but the temperatures will remain below normal values for the next few days.
Temperatures in both Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent bottomed out at -26C (-14F) early Monday morning.
The forecast says Tuesday will provide the warmest temperatures in the coming week with highs of -8C (17F).
Environment Canada says the normal high for this time of year is 1C (34F), while the normal low is -7C (19F).
