Essex Rallies Past Blenheim

The Essex 73’s needed a late rally to get by the Blenheim Blades 6-4.

The Blades jumped out to a 4-1 lead early in the second period thanks to two goals from Nolan VandenBoorn.

But Essex closed out the game with five unanswered goals to steal the win. Anthony Cristofaro had two goals and an assist for the 73’s.

Essex is off until next Tuesday when they host Mooretown. Blenheim is back on the ice on Sunday when they host Lakeshore.
