Chatham-Kent police had to use a taser to take a suspect into custody.
Last night around 9:30pm, officers responded to a call about a suspicious man on Harvey St. in Chatham.
When they arrived, police found an intoxicated man with a bag full of break-in tools attempting to pry open a car door.
The suspect became aggressive during the arrest, kicking and swinging at officers. Police had to use a taser to take him into custody.
A search found the 33-year-old was in possession of methamphetamine. He's charged with being intoxicated in a public place, resist arrest and drug possession.
