The Chatham-Kent Police Service is warning residents to watch out for used syringes in public places.
Police say they're continuing to get reports of used hypodermic needles in public places in Chatham, Blenheim and Wallaceburg.
The police service is reminding people not to touch used needles and to call police immediately so the syringes can be safely thrown out.
Officials also say anyone who is accidentally picked by one of these needles should go directly to the nearest hospital for immediate medical care.
