Second place in the Western Division is on the line tonight when the Maroons travel to Sarnia to face the Legionnaires.
Sarnia has a 1-point edge on Chatham and Legionnaires Head Coach Dan Rose expects, as usual, a physical game.
"We don't learn from beating somebody 12-2," says Rose. "We learn and get better as hockey players and coaches by playing teams like the Chatham Maroons and the Leamington Flyers and the LaSalle Vipers -- the teams that come out to play and play the game the way it's supposed to be played."
Because the Maroons have a team full of veterans, Rose doesn't expect Tyler Roeszler to have any issues transitioning to the head coaching job. Chatham has 33 points on the season with a 16-6-1 record while Sarnia has 34 points at 17-7. Puck drop in Sarnia is scheduled for 7:10pm.
