The Chatham Goodfellows organization is bouncing back following a theft of toys and batteries.
Last week, Chatham-Kent police reported a theft from a trailer containing about $3,700 worth of items for the Goodfellows' No Child Without A Christmas campaign.
Since that time, Chatham business Battery Boy has donated enough batteries to replace those stolen. The goodfellows have also received two anonymous $1,000 donations.
Blackburn Radio (94.3 CKSY) and Chatham Breakfast House & Grill also hosted a toy drive this week, taking in a van full of items and cash donations worth $250.
