Remembrance Day 2014

After recent attacks on Canadian soil, this Remembrance Day will serve as an even greater reminder of the sacrifices our men and women in uniform make everyday.

Many residents across Windsor-Essex say November 11 hits close to home this year. "This Remembrance Day is especially going to be if not as significant a lot more because of the recent events that happened," says Abdullah Alhaddad.

It's a time to reflect and pay tribute to the many lives lost fighting for our freedom. "Maybe they'll take that into consideration now that this happens every day all over the world people get killed for political reasons," says Jessica Beaulieu.

"I think Remembrance Day should be pretty much always remembered equally whether something happened big or not," says Lawson Beneteau.
