Maroons Crush Legionnaires

The Chatham Maroons made short work of the Sarnia Legionnaires, taking a 8-2 win.
During the game Sunday night, Chatham started the game with a quick first goal, 25 seconds into the first period. However, it was in the second period that the Maroons ensured their win, scoring five of their eight goals. The Legionnaires were greatly out shot by the Maroons 65-28 and were only able to score once in the second period and once in the third.
Brennan Feasey was Chatham’s top scorer with three goals, and Steven Beenackers was able to score two. Brett Storr, Jared Dennis, and Michael Verboom each scored one.
The Maroons will play the St. Thomas Stars next on Friday at 7:30pm.
