Dresden Beats Essex in Shootout

It took five shootout rounds, but the Dresden Kings beat the first place Essex 73’s 4-3.
Essex led 1-0 heading into the third period where it suddenly turned into a back and forth game.
Justin Delgado scored the shootout winner for the Kings, while teammate Scott Tricker made 44 saves to pick up the win.
Dresden is off until Friday when they host Lakeshore. Essex is off until next Tuesday when they host Amherstburg.
