After spending nearly five hours up in the bucket of an Entegrus truck, a pair of Blackburn Radio on-air hosts managed to exceed their donation goal in the annual Two Boobs in a Bucket campaign.

Chris and Sam from CK Mornings are now safely back on the ground after raising $3,300 for breast cancer research.

“Having it October 1st is awesome, it’s basically kicking off our breast cancer awareness month,” says Canadian Cancer Society Fundraising Co-Ordinator Lauren Drury. “The money we raised today will go towards breast cancer research and will definitely help us with our pink ribbon campaign.”

The next big campaign for the Canadian Cancer Society in Chatham-Kent starts October 6 with the port-a-john Flush Out Cancer campaign.
