The Windsor Spitfires are trading for a veteran centre after learning that Brady Vail will stay in Toronto.

The Spits are sending their 4th round draft pick in 2017, 7th round pick in 2016, and 12th round pick in 2019 to North Bay for centre Jamie Lewis.

In 195 games with the Battalion, Lewis has 25 goals, 47 assists, 106 penalty minutes and a +14 rating.

Spits GM Warren Rychel says, “with the news of Brady Vail signing his AHL deal, we really needed some stability down the middle of the ice. Jamie is a hard-nosed, two-way player that can contribute in all aspects of the game.”
