73’s Blank Blades

After dropping their season opener, the Essex 73’s have now won five straight after shutting out the Blenheim Blades 4-0.

73’s goalie Noah Hedrick stopped all 22 shots he faced to get the shutout, while teammate Tyler Scott had a goal and an assist.

The Blades were unable to capitalize while on the powerplay, going 0-for-7. Blenheim goalie Klinton Kenney was also busy in net, stopping 32 of the 36 shots he faced.

Essex is off until next Tuesday when they host the Wheatley Sharks. Blenheim is back in action on Saturday when they travel to Mooretown.
