Environment Canada Predicts Gorgeous Fall

The senior climatologist at Environment Canada predicts some beautiful weather in both Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex this fall, especially over the next week.
David Phillips says temperatures will be two to four degrees warmer than normal, and “no storms, just bright sunshine. Wall to wall sunshine and actually, delightfully boring.”
He says the tame weather will continue well into October. “Now, hay it can’t keep the frost off the pumpkin or a dusting of snow before Remembrance Day. That may happen, but we think the personality, the character of the fall season, it looks pretty promising.”
Phillips says after a wet and cooler summer; farmers should get some relief in the way of drier conditions just in time for harvest.
Autumn starts at 10:29pm.
