CFCO To Broadcast Leafs Hockey

Blackburn Radio Inc. station Country 92.9 FM / 630 AM CFCO is your home for Toronto Maple Leafs hockey this season in Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex.  Leafs play-by-play announcer Joe Bowen calls it a homecoming of sorts for him.

“I went to school down in Windsor and have some very good friends who live in and around the Chatham-area so welcome aboard and glad you’re along with us,” says Bowen. “As far as the Leafs go this season, the bottom-line is for the most part it’s the same core that has to get over these mental humps in order to get into the post-season and then once you’re in anything might happen.”

The Leafs began on-ice training today in Toronto. Training camp officially started yesterday.

Exhibition games will not be broadcast. CFCO’s FM signal covers the majority of Chatham-Kent while its AM signal can be heard across much of southwestern Ontario and beyond.  The games will NOT be available via online stream at Country 92.9 FM / 630 AM CFCO.
