Plane Crash Update

The Transportation Safety Board is awaiting word from the pilot of an ultra light aircraft that crashed near Brigden over the weekend.
Spokesperson Don Enns says the two seated airplane is not certificated, so it doesn’t raise any major safety issues.
Lambton OPP responded to a field in the 2200-block of Oil Springs Line around 11am Sunday after a plane flipped making an emergency landing.
The pilot was transported to hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries.
Police say the man, who was alone in the aircraft, experienced in-flight problems that required him to perform an emergency landing in the field.
