The Chatham Maroons lost their GOJHL pre-season opener, falling 5-4 to the Sarnia Legionnaires.

After a scoreless first period, Nick Delyzer put the Maroons on the board, his first of two goals on the night.

But Sarnia skated away with the victory after closing out the game with two unanswered goals.

Chatham will host the Legionnaires on Sunday at 7pm in their second pre-season game at Memorial Arena.
