The Wheatley Sharks Junior C hockey team is eager to hit the ice tonight for the annual Blue and White game.

“We’re looking for a goaltender to back up our #1 goalie (Connor) McKinnon,” says Head Coach Ken Galerno. “We’re looking for two or three, possibly four spots on the back end, and just some scoring punch up front. Lot of local kids in the lineup tonight at the Blue-White game so hopefully we can find someone talented enough to fill the spots.”

Training camp was cut short earlier this week after the power went out in Leamington during their scheduled ice time.

The Blue and White game gets underway at 7pm in Leamington at the Kinsmen Recreation Complex. The Sharks are in Blenheim on Sunday to take on the Blades in a preseason game.
