Police Issue Fraud Warning
Chatham-Kent police are urging you to report door to door scams after Canadians were defrauded of over $40,000.
The Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre reports Canadians lost $41,000 in door to door scams in 2013.
Police say the best way to stop this type of fraud is to recognize and report it to the authorities. Investigators suggest immediately asking the person at your door for their name and what company they work for.
