Leamington is paying roughly $290,000 for a new grader.
Council recently approved the purchase of the John Deere machine for $298,000 with a $13,000 trade-in as the new grader will replace a 20-year-old piece of equipment.
The grader is used to level gravel roads as well as maintaining road shoulders and is also used in snow control operations.
The purchase is within the $300,000 approved in the 2014 budget.
