NDP Eyeing CKE
The NDP are in a position to grow in Chatham-Kent-Essex over the next four years.
NDP Leader Andrea Horwath says tbe party could take the riding in the next election, pointing to the strength the party already has.
“Now I have Percy Hatfield, as well as Taras Natyshak in addition to Lisa Gretzky,” says Horwath. “There are lots of things that will happen between now and the next election but one of things that will continue to happen is we’re going to bring the concerns of these communities up in the legislature.”
Horwath says the controversy surrounding Liberal members posing as disenfranchised NDP members during Retrofest didn’t hurt the party.
