Food Advisory Members Sought

The Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit says there are some vacancies on the Food Policy Council.

Dietitian Lyndsay Davidson says the organization needs some general members and some with specific expertise.

“We are looking for someone to represent seniors, someone who has a background or is involved with food processing,” she says. “We are looking for someone who has a business background, and most importantly we are looking for two general communities.”

The council advises the health unit on food issues and can be involved in other groups like the agriculture development committee and branding Chatham-Kent and Food Link CK.
