Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers and local police are reminding you to call in any suspicious activity, especially in rural areas.

Police seized several marijuana plants with a street value of $4,000 growing on a property just west of Thamesville Tuesday evening.

Officials say this is the time of year that marijuana growers are sneaking into corn fields and wooded lots, or any other place that the weed will grow undetected.
