Thamesville Threshing Festival

The 39th annual Thamesville Threshing Festival starts this evening and runs through Saturday.

Most events are being held in Ferguson Park, but the festival starts off with a two-hour parade.

“Bring a lawn chair, it’s an incredible parade. We’ve got antique cars to old tractors and all kinds of unusual floats. You name it, we’ve got it,” says Organizer Ed Pumfrey, who notes the farmer olympics are always a good show. “We start with a large hay bail that they have to shove so many feet, then they have to pull a tractor and then they have to go through this crazy bail obstacle course.”
