Chatham-Kent police officials say the selection of Deputy Chief Gary Conn for an FBI training program in Virginia reflects well on the police service in general.

Conn will be the fourth C-K officer to head to Quantico for the training program.

“Probably the most important thing is the networking, the professional relationships that you gain on courses like this,” he says. “They only select two Canadians per intake.”

Former police chiefs John Kopinak and Carl Herder and current chief Dennis Poole also went through the program.
