Saying Goodbye To Sophia Vlasman
An opportunity to say goodbye to Sophia Vlasman.
That’s what today’s visitation at Alexander and Houle Funeral Home in Chatham is being called. The 16-year-old UCC student lost her battle with a rare form of cancer last Friday morning.
Family friend Deb Owen saw Vlasman within the last week or so and says she was in good spirits. “She has a wonderful sense of humour,” says Owen. “She’s always got a smile and she’s always gotta make someone laugh and she did that that day.”
Visitation is taking place from 1pm-9pm today. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked in-lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Teresina Larizza Charities (TLC) foundation, a charitable organization committed to assisting under-privileged and seriously ill children, at Charity@TLCfoundation.ca. A private funeral service is being held tomorrow.
