Progressive Conservative Leader Tim Hudak is meeting constituents in the Lambton-Kent Middlesex riding today with MPP Monte McNaughton.

Hudak says his party’s plan has several benefits for areas like Chatham-Kent, which is facing a major infrastructure deficit and is home to hundreds of wind turbines.

“If you’re working at an industrial wind turbine plant, the only way you’re going to do well and hire more people is to sell internationally, to sell into the states or Europe or Asia,” says Hudak. “We’re going to stop the expansion of these expensive industrial wind turbines and the subsidies driving up your hydro bill.”

Hudak says would also take gas tax money and let local councils spend it on whatever they want, wether it be roads, bridges or infrastructure.

The PC leader will be at 7253 Calvert Dr. in Strathroy at 5:30pm. Advance polls are already open. Ontario votes on June 12.
