Noelle’s Gift Donation

A number of students across the Lambton Kent District School Board district are receiving help with supplies, nutrition, field trips and other support in memory of a former teacher.

Noelle’s Gift donated $50,000 that will be used to help students needing items like shoes, glasses, clothing, food, funds for field trips, and medical supplies. Donations have also been made to the school nutrition program.

Noelle’s Gift is the memorial fund set up by the family of Noelle Paquette, the 27-year-old teacher who disappeared after a New Year’s Party January 1, 2013 and was found dead days later.

Paquette was a teacher for the Catholic board and the memorial fund is making donations to support children in both boards.
