DNA evidence has helped police nab a break and enter suspect in Chatham.
Back in December of 2013, Chatham-Kent police were called to a home on Joseph St. for a break and enter. The suspect caused $500 in damage, and stole $3,000 worth of electronics and cash.
Officers sent DNA evidence found at the scene away for analysis. The DNA was a match for a local man, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Eric Dutcher, 27, was taken into custody yesterday morning. He’s charged with break and enter.
