Flood Watch In North KentMay 16, 2014 9:57am
The St. Clair Conservation Authority has issued a flood watch for the region.
Officials say water levels have risen drastically over the last 48 hours and some watercourses are now spilling into nearby fields. Localized flooding continues to spread to more low lying areas and will do so for the next few days.
In St. Clair Township, Waterworks Rd. and Pretty Rd. near Stanley Rd. is flooded.
Residents are being asked to avoid the Sydenham River, streams, ditches and ponds for the time being due to dangerous conditions and fast moving water.
