Coping With A Loved One’s Suicide

A seminar talking about how to handle the loss of a loved one to suicide comes to Chatham.

Real Stories, Real Hope features guest speaker Penny Knapp, who lost her son Nicholas.

“It’s really nice if people that have been through it can come forward and connect with others,” says Knapp. “The telling of my story, the talking about the signs, the symptoms of grief, and what it’s like losing a loved one to suicide, is very much part of the healing journey.”

The free event, presented by the Mental Health Network of Chatham-Kent, gets underway at the Portuguese Club on Grand Ave. in Chatham at 7pm.
