Sulman Wants Empty Lot Addressed

Chatham-Kent Councillor Doug Sulman wants to see the site of the former Kinsmen Auditorium in Chatham cleaned up.

Sulman, who represents Ward 6, says it’s been three years since the facility was torn down, leaving a bare space.

“If a soccer field fit there and you could fit it in with a parking lot, that would be a soccer field for young people, not a full size one, that would be nice,” says Sulman. “Otherwise a passive park, some greenery and grass and trees would be nice.”

Sulman wants a report back from administration with options no later than the middle of June.
