A weekend RIDE program blitz conducted by Chatham-Kent OPP netted a handful of drivers.
Police set up Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening at Hwy. 40 and Longwoods Rd.
Police seized what they believe to be be cocaine from a 24-year-old Charing Cross man. Marijuana was found on a 20-year-old Thamesville man. A 34-year-old Beamsville resident was charged with impaired driving. A Chatham woman, 45 years of age was charged with impaired driving and a handful of traffic act charges and a 29-year-old Chatham man was also charged with impaired.
All have future court dates.
