United Way Names 2014 Chairs

The United Way of Chatham-Kent is starting early with this year’s campaign and one of the new co-chairs says many of the team is in place now, and won’t be waiting for September to get to work.

Dean and Margery Muharrem will head the campaign and Dean Muharrem says they are very excited about it.

“You look around at our team, we’ve got young guys,” he says. “It’s going to be great, bringing that youth, that energy, they can teach an old dog a new trick.”

Muharrem says his wife Margery’s time as a volunteer with several non-profit organizations including Victim Services showed them the value of the United Way.
