Rondeau Superintendent Transferred To Pinery
Richard Post, the Rondeau Park superintendent accused of assaulting a 73-year-old cottager, is taking a new job at the Pinery Provincial Park near Grand Bend.
Post and the cottagers have a history of controversy. At one point, summer residents in Rondeau collected over 300 signatures on a petition urging Ontario Parks to relocate the superintendent.
“There have been a litany of complaints about him and a petition. I don’t want to stir up bad things from the past, I’m looking forward to start a very good relationship with the new person,” says President of the Rondeau Cottagers Association Dave Colby.
Post was found not guilty of assaulting the 73-year-old cottager but tensions remained high in the park.
