Hotel-Dieu Grace Expanding

The new rehabilitation centre at Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare Tayfour Campus will fill a health care niche in Windsor and Essex County.
The goal is to help more people like 62-year old stroke survivor Robert “Chase” Graham. He’s been getting treatment at the Tayfour Campus on Prince St. for the past six weeks.
“It’s great, I mean, I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing? I like being able to work at getting better,” notes Graham. “What else am I supposed to be doing? Sit in a bed? This is very critical.”
Yesterday’s announcement of $8.25-million will go towards renovating the second floor to help more people like Graham transition from a hospital stay to a home care setting.
