Chatham-Kent is receiving another sizeable payout from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation for hosting the slots at Dresden Raceway.

The fourth-quarter payment is just shy of $170,000 and brings the total monies received to more than $8-million in non-tax gaming revenue.

Under the current formula, municipalities receive 5.25% on the first $65-million of slot revenue, then the percentage decreases as profits rise.

The OLG provides the Ontario government with about $2-billion dollars a year.
