Ministry of Agriculture officials are asking people to keep an eye out for another invasive species.

Vegetable crop specialist Janice LeBoeuf says the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug has been detected in the Chatham-Kent area.

“These stink bugs are very agressive feeders on many crops but certainly fruit and vegetable crops,” she says. “Wanting people to watch for them just so we can see how much they are spreading and if they are starting to get out into the fields. A lot of the finds have been in buildings.”
