Food Processing Licence Granted

Highbury Canco Corporation has been issued a one-year licence to process tomatoes at the former Heinz plant in Leamington.
After two days of hearings, the Farm Products Marketing Commission granted the company the licence, which is a condition on them finalizing their agreement with Heinz.
Highbury Canco is a Toronto-area producer that will make tomato juice in the facility and hopes to create other Heinz products moving forward.
