Flyers Begin Sutherland Cup Series

The Leamington Flyers host the St. Catharines Falcons in Game 1 of their Sutherland Cup semifinal.
The Flyers are the GOJHL Western Conference Champions after blanking the Chatham Maroons 1-0 in Game 5. The Flyers last won a championship back in 1984 when the team was part of the Great Lakes Junior Hockey League.
Had the Maroons won the series, the season would have ended for the Falcons. St. Catharines enters the semifinal in the wildcard spot.
The other semifinal belongs to the Caledonia Corvairs and the Waterloo Siskins.
Game 1 is at 7:10pm at the Leamington Kinsmen Recreation Complex. Game 2 is at Jack Gatecliff Arena in St. Catharines.
