Agricultural products grown and produced in Chatham-Kent will now be labeled as such.

The “Grown in CK” Brand is the result of a partnership between Chatham-Kent Agri Development, the CK Food Policy Council and the municipality.

Vice Chair of CKAD Jamie McGrail envisions great things. “My vision is to have this throughout Ontario, Canada and internationally,” says McGrail. “We need to make a mark within Chatham-Kent and the world that we’re here. We produce awesome products and we are a world leader.”

So far there are seven producers on board including The Pickle Station, Park’s Blueberries and Buis Beef.
