Standing By London Reporter Ejection
April 4, 2014 5:30am
Windsor Express CEO Dartis Willis is defending his decision to remove London Free Press Reporter Morris Dalla Costa from the WFCU Centre on Tuesday. He says Dalla Costa took personal shots at Windsor, the Windsor Express, the league and Willis in his writing, whether it was on paper or on social media. “The league is a brand new league and it’s growing. You can’t be in an all-out war to attempt to belittle the commissioner, the league, the other ownership groups. You have to be fair about it, and that’s all we ask.”
The Express CEO says notice was given to Dalla Costa prior to game seven between Windsor and London, but the reporter claims to have not seen such notice.
Willis is welcoming Dalla Costa to tonight’s first game of the NBL Canada finals in Windsor.
